Chloe Grace Moretz may be young, but she certainly has a good head on her shoulders.

The teen actress, who broke into the world of show business at a very young age, recently opened up about not focusing on craziness that is teenage dating.

In the new issue of FLARE magazine, the "If I Stay" star said being 17 years old is "a tough age to fall in love."

"People change so quickly," Moretz said. "I don't want to have to feel like I have to watch my step, 'cause I'm 17 and I shouldn't have to."

The teen said living her life in a relationship is not her style, and she even tries to share her mindset with her friends, but it's met with very little success most of the time.

"I'm like, Dude, you're wasting your entire high-school years, and now you're going to waste away your college years. You're going to spend your entire life in a relationship and then you're going to get married...and then you're dead!" Moretz told the magazine.

Instead of focusing on being with a boyfriend, Moretz said she prefers to channel her passion on acting and fashion. The young star is already on her 28th movie with the Antoine Fuqua-directed "The Equalizer," in which Moretz plays a street worn sex worker.

Meanwhile, the teen, who is often photographed wearing designer names on and off the red carpet, also opened up about her love for fashion, which she said is a "walking art."

"Just put me in whatever is fun and interesting, things that I won't be able to wear when I'm 30," Moretz said. "People say don't judge a book by its cover, but if someone wears a crazy outfit, they're automatically a crazy person. If you wear a tame outfit, you're automatically prude."
