Scarlett Johansson is feeling the summer heat.
With only several weeks left before her due date, the Oscar nominated actress debuted a shorter, pixie-styled hairdo while she was out for a walk with fiance Romain Dauriac in New York City on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old "Lucy" star showed off her dramatic short hair, which was dyed peroxide blonde, but the expecting mother hid her baby bump in a pair of baggy black dungarees and a white T-shirt.
Johansson completed her summer look with a pair of maroon sneakers, silver-rimmed sunglasses and a black leather handbag that she slung over her shoulder.
Dauriac donned shorts and a printed shirt as he joined the pregnant star for a walk in the Big Apple.
News of the actress's pregnancy surfaced in March, and she has been keeping a low profile since then. Johansson was last seen sporting a slightly longer bob while out and about in New York City on July 12.
Johansson and Dauriac have been engaged since 2013. In a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, the "Her" actress admitted that things will be different once the baby arrives.
"It seems so stressful to not be able to spend time with your family because you're constantly chasing the tail of your own success," the actress told WSJ in March. "There must exist a world in which I can balance those things, be able to raise a family and still make a film a year, or work on my own, develop things, do theater. I want to be able to have it all."
Meanwhile, her colleagues couldn't be more happier, albeit a little panicked, when Johansson's pregnancy news surfaced.
"Well, my first reaction was I was very happy for her and very excited for her," said Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, according to Hello! magazine. "My second reaction was we've got to move some pieces on the chess board around. But we didn't change the script at all, which is sort of the most important thing for us in terms of the storyline."
Johansson will return to the Marvel universe as Natasha Romanoff, or the Black Widow, for the release of "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" in 2015.
