Neymar Jr. says he is feeling better now, and he aims to go back into the field for action in a friendly for Barcelona on August 18, which is two and a half weeks from now.

He said during an interview in Japan, "I am almost 100% ready to go back to training with my team mates and we hope to have a great season."

He also added, "I am recovering from my back injury after the hit I took."

Neymar fractured his vertebra during the Colombia versus Brazil quarter-final in the recently concluded World Cup, where Juan Camilo Zuniga of Brazil kneeled his back, just minutes before the end of the match.

The Brazilian player now hopes to join his La Liga team on August 5, and he told reporters from Japan that he will be ready to play for Barcelona.

"Next season I hope to have a great season together with my team mates from Barcelona," he said.

"We hope to win titles, our goal to give joy to Barcelona fans and of course with the Brazilian national team too," he added.

Neymar was also spotted days ago sporting a back brace while chilling out with his girlfriend and buddies in a luxury boat.

Lionel Messi, his team mate, and co- forward, on the other hand, is facing a lawsuit on tax evasion. Luis Suarez, the new player, is still on suspension by FIFA for biting Chiellini of Italy, but reports have said that he can train with Barcelona within two weeks' time.

Barcelona will play in a friendly against Mexican team Leon at Camp Nou on August 18. They will train for the La Liga in the following weekend prior to the match.

Barca failed to land on any places in the last season for the first time in six years. They now have a new coach, Luis Enrique. He replaced Coach Gerardo Martino.
