One of the posts of LAtimes for August 4 said that Vanilla Ice hate the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle rap song.
Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla signed for the collaboration song for the upcoming "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". Some people hate the news of rebooting and changing the story of TMNT and the even rap song collab including Latimes. (see their official article here).
And now, the white rapper is reported that he has shared his lack of enthusiasm for the new tune in a new interview with GQ. His exact statement in an interview with GQ last Monday was "With respect to all of the artists, the song doesn't really do it for me,"
Shell Shocked is a new song for the new TMNT movie, collaborated by the mentioned rappers.
Ice also stated:
"It feels a little artificial -- what I mean by that is that it sounds like a bunch of executives in the corporate world put it together."
"It really does not fit the theme of the Ninja Turtles legend. I think you have to understand, and be a true ninja, to possess the magic to really pull off the secret sound."
Another related news for this post, Screenrant said "Without a doubt, Ice's "Ninja Rap" remains a fun touchstone for pop music in the early 1990s but is the former rap icon really in a position to judge "Shell Shocked"?"
