Manchester United remains unbeaten in their pre-season tour. The team is under new head coach Louis van Gaal, which for his tenacity, had helped the team excel during their games.
Man United recently defeated Real Madrid to 3-1 in the International Champions Cup match last Saturday. United will now advance to Mondays final of the eight-team tournament and they are up against Liverpool in Miami.
Aside from defeating Real Madrid, other team such as Roma and Inter Milan has succumb to their defeat against the 20-times English champions.
Van Gaal, during the post match interview has said of the team "It's amazing that they have picked up a new system like that, because it's not new for (Juan) Mata, for example - he plays in his position. Neither for (Wayne) Rooney, (Danny) Welbeck nor the two midfielders. The greatest impact with this new system is on the back line. But we only conceded one chance in the first half and two in the second."
Madrid solo game came in at 27th and it came from Gareth Bale while United's goal came from an Ashley Young and two first half goal from Ashley Young.
Van Gaal had good words for the United defender's Keane and Tyler Blackett saying that they still have room to grow. He said "You saw them play today and they can do the job but not for a lot of matches - they can do it for one match. Maybe when you give them more matches, their experience shall increase."
He added "But today the penalty was not so smart. He (Keane) has to learn from these errors. It's the same for Tyler - he can also play at this level but can he play match after match? That is the question and I cannot answer that at the moment."
According to the new United coach, their consecutive wins greatly helped boost the teams confidence having come from the 7th place last season.
He said ""It's a very good result for us and it gives confidence to the players. I changed players in the second half but in spite of that, we scored again. This wasn't a friendly - I had the feeling that Real Madrid didn't want to lose, which is why Ronaldo came on earlier than Carlo said (he would). But we won and deserved to win."
