Big Bang's T.O.P. said his lips tingled after he kissed Lee Honey but that may have something to do with the amount of time he spent kissing her.
The actors filmed a romantic scene together for their film "Tazza 2: The High Rollers" and even though kissing looks easy enough when actors do it, it can actually be hard work.
When the actors gathered together for a press conference at Konkuk University, they discussed what it was like to shoot a kissing scene.
"We filmed the kissing scene for about eight to nine hours," said Lee Honey.
Even the most passionate of kissers could tire after a full workday of puckering up. And to make it more complicated they filmed it on a cold rainy day.
"We filmed while getting poured on by rain, and he had such a fever that I could tell he had a cold," she said.
Ever the gentleman he made light of the situation.
"That wasn't from a fever," he said. "It was nervousness that turned really passionate because I was kissing you. My lips got really hot."
The former Miss Korea accused him of kidding around and complimented him for working so hard even though he was sick.
But more kisses are going to be associated with the film.
During a previous press conference both T.O.P. and actress Shin Se Kyung promised to kiss viewers if the film became a success.
"If we break though five million viewers, I will kiss 70 male viewers on the forehead," she said.
T.O.P. was also up to the challenge although apparently his lips were worn out from kissing Lee Honey. He could not promise quite as many kisses
"I will also kiss 50 female viewers on the forehead," he said.
In the film the actor and singer plays a young man with a natural talent for gambling. He gets set up in a scheme that ends with him running for his life. Lee Honey plays president Woo.
It was not just the kissing scene that impressed Lee Honey but T.O.P.'s growth as an actor.
"While filming this movie, I was greatly surprised by the new sides to T.O.P.," she said. "After adapting to the film set, he danced to the point the floor needed no cleaning and engaged in acting with complete fervor. That behavior is very impressive. The first time I saw him was seven to eight years ago. He has become so much more mature since then and was added a lot to the set with his charisma."
