The cast has been finalized for the upcoming film "Twenty" and production has begun. The film quickly made headlines when it first cast Kim Woo Bin, 2PM's Junho and Kang Ha Neul in the leading make roles. But now casting is complete with the addition of Jung So Min, Lee Yubi, Min Hyo Rin and Jung Joo Yeon.
The film tells the story of three friend as they enter their 20s. It's a time of expectations clashing with reality. Anything might seem possible but life does not always turn out as expected. And it's important to have friends standing by when that happens.
Kim Woo Bin, who played bad boy Choi Do Young in "The Heirs," plays Chi Ho in "Twenty." Chi Ho is a young man who is crazy about girls but can't seem to get a job.
Kim Woo Bin said he chose the role because it was different than anything he had done before. He looked forward to having a chance at portraying such a comical character.
Jung So Min, last seen as the spoiled but repentant heiress in "Big Man," will play So Min. Her character dates and repeatedly breaks up with Chi Ho.
Junho plays Dong Woo, a young man who dreams of becoming a cartoonist. He works at different jobs while trying to get into college.
Lee Yubi plays So Hee, a girl with a crush on Dong Woo.
Kang Ha Neul, who appeared this year in the films "The Age of Innocence" and "Mourning Grave," plays college freshman Kyung Jae. That character falls in love with Jin Joo, a mysterious girl at school. Min Hyo Rin plays Jin Joo. Kyung Jae has led a pretty comfortable life but that doesn't mean he is satisfied with it. He tends to want what he can't have.
Jung Joo Yeon plays aspiring actress Eun Hye. She is the person Kim Woo Bin's character has a crush on.
It's easy to see how these relationships could get complicated. Will the friendship of these three men survive disappointment, jealousy and misunderstandings? Hopefully.
Production on the film has already begun and "Twenty" is expected to premiere in early 2015.
Lee Byun Hun I, who wrote "Speedy Scandal," will direct the film. Last year he directed the film "Be Strong Byung Hun." The director said that he very much wanted to make a film about what it was like to be 20, an age that is full of possibilities.
