Another Deleted Scene In ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ Revealed!

It seems that "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" has many deleted scenes that are yet to be revealed. We first heard that "Divergent" star Shailene Woodley was supposed to be part of the second installment of Marc Webb's web-slinging movie franchise but was not included.

This time it was revealed in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" Blu-Ray, which will be out on August 19, a deleted scene that may have brought twist in the ending: the resurrection of someone close to Peter Parker. But, it is not Gwen Stacy who suddenly appears in the cemetery while our friendly neighborhood hero is mourning on the death of his beloved Gwen. It is his dad, Richard Peter.

In a video clip posted on Entertainment Weekly, Peter doesn't believe that the old, bearded man is his father. Well, we can't blame him for that because he knows that his father already died in a plane crash as what we have seen in one of the flashback moments in the second installment.

But the man insisted that he is Richard Parker, saying, "I know this is impossible to understand, Peter. I thought I knew what to say, but I don't. I don't know what to say to you ... but I'm sorry. It's me, Peter. I'm sorry."

While we don't know the reason behind the deletion of the scene that was supposed to be part of the ending of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", the said appearance of Richard Parker may have changed the story. It may have given the fans idea on what to watch out for in "The Amazing Spider-Man 3", which is slated to hit the theaters in 2018 after movie spinoff "The Sinister Six" in 2016.

This revelation, however, can still give us room for guessing on what could happen in the upcoming anti-hero movie "The Sinister Six" as it is possible that the bearded man is Chameleon. But then, because that is already a deleted scene, we can't just tell that it is a hint on the plot of the next sequel of "The Amazing Spider-Man" franchise.
