Aerosmith tour 2014 was nearly entirely cancelled after the band's drummer, Joey Kramer, had to undergo a special heart procedure. In fact, the Aerosmith tour 2014 in Concord, California's Concord Pavilion was cancelled, since it was on the same day that Kramer had to undergo the minor medical procedure for his heart.
However, now, it would seem that Kramer is back in the game. He has just recently tweeted, "Feeling' good, feelin' groovy, feelin' great!!! Nothin' keeps the Kramedog down." Now that the Kramedog is back, the Aerosmith tour 2014 can now return to the stage.
At the time, however, there was a huge amount of rumors that circulated on the Internet, saying that Kramer was actually having some pretty serious heart complications. In fact, his wife even confirmed this on her Twitter account.
The Kramedog, however, opted to keep mum about the details behind his condition, but he did talk to his fans through a statement. He said, "I'm feeling better than ever and I'll be back sitting in the best seat in the house, hitting it harder than ever for our amazing fans. My gratitude and thanks for all the love and support showered on me during this time."
Through the years, nothing has kept the band from pushing through with the Aerosmith tour 2014. However, it would seem that only health-related concerns could veer them off the track.
The band's bassist, Tom Hamilton, had to miss a huge part of the band's tour back in 2006 because he had to recover from throat and tongue cancer. Three years after this, Aerosmith's front man, Steve Tyler, accidentally fell off the stage, giving him a broken shoulder and leaving him with 20 stitches. This very same year, the guitarist, Brad Whitford, had to sit out several tour dates since he had to recover from a serious head injury. Lastly, back in 2013, Hamilton also had to leave the Australian leg of their tour because of an illness that was not specified.
