Justin Bieber No Longer Welcome In Canada? Singer Arrested Again

Justin Bieber's Canadian fans are shaking their heads now along with the rest of the world, as the pop star was arrested and charged with assault and dangerous driving over the weekend, according to Reuters.

The charges came after two drivers got into a "physical altercation" on Friday near a small Canadian town, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police said in a release.

The "Baby" hitmaker reportedly got physical after a collision between a minivan and an all-terrain vehicle.

Justin Bieber was reportedly visiting the Canadian province with his on-again-off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez when he got arrested.

"Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez' peaceful retreat in Stratford this weekend was unfortunately disrupted by the unwelcome presence of the paparazzi. This has regrettably resulted in charges of dangerous driving and assault," the 20-year-old's lawyer, Brian Greenspan, said in an emailed statement.

The "Boyfriend" singer's recent arrest in Canada came weeks after he reportedly pleaded guilty to careless driving and resisting an office without violence in Florida, part of a deal to resolve allegations he was caught racing in a Lamborghini under the influence of drugs and alcohol, according to the media outlet.

Los Angeles police are reportedly investigating whether or not this offense will constitute as probation violation in Bieber's egg-throwing vandalism case, according to the New York Daily News. A violation could result in possible jail time, according to TMZ.

Soon after getting arrested, Bieber was released from police custody on a "promise to appear" in Canadian court on September 29.
