Madden NFL 15's review for PS4 comes with a quirky twist; a flying lineman and a thumb-sized linebacker.
The latest Madden NFL 15's review for PS4 is out, barely a week after the release of EA Sports' newest installment to the franchise. Feedback is mostly positive, covering up gameplay flaws and disappointments of previous releases in the genre.
Gamespot's Josiah Renaudin confirms this year's Madden is a step in the right direction, in a review.
"...Madden 15 corrects the course by taking two big steps in the right direction. Firstly, revamped defensive play gives you a reason to actively participate as you defend a drive; secondly, precise attention to detail creates a more cohesive aesthetic package. Deficiencies in the passing game along with technical hiccups stemming from the game's often-comical physics still exist, but Madden 15's few missteps do little to detract from an otherwise strong outing."
More notable in Madden NFL 15's review for PS4 are the glitches, though, the first thing players scour for after release. Funny enough, this year's outing comes with a few, either deliberately or inadvertently thrown in.
Sports games are progressively becoming more realistic; the physics of the genre stays as close as possible to the real thing. Still, gamers noticed a glitch in a flying lineman early on, defying the laws of gravity.
More recent is the miniature linebacker caught in the middle of a fumble, identified as 6'2", 235-pound Christian Kirksey from Iowa. The glitch was reported and posted on Twitter, and many users made the most out of it by having Kirksey make some plays.
Kirksey was up for the comments, being a good sport on the Twitter threads. "No matter how small you are, have big dreams, and live big!"
Most of Madden NFL 15's review for PS4 are positive, and the adorable glitch adds to the novelty, at least. Kirksey says his favorite part was when his thumb-sized, digital self made a high-five. "I basically just elevated in [the] air." (source: cnn.com)
