Minnesota Vikings as well as key player Adrian Peterson has been highly criticized over the incident that has rocked the NFL world as of late.

Adrian Peterson has been indicted for child abuse after he hit his 7 year old son right after he pushed his other child from a motorbike video game. For Peterson, he was just reprimanding his child.

The running back missed our last Sunday's game but Peterson will participate in all team practices and meetings this week. Vikings owners Zygi and Mark Wilf sent out an official statement bringing Peterson back to the squad in this coming Sunday's game.

The reinstatement brought about an outcry from Minnesota governor as well as several sponsorships. Among those sponsors who had pulled out their support on the Vikings as well as with Peterson is Mylan.

Mylan has announced that it was no longer working with Peterson to promote its EpiPen, used to treat allergic reactions. Mylan spokeswoman Julie Knell said "Mylan has ended all activities with Adrian Peterson. We remain committed to supporting those managing potentially life-threatening allergies and will continue our educational efforts to increase anaphylaxis awareness and preparedness."

Nike has also pulled out their Peterson jerseys from its stores at the Mall of America in Bloomington and in outlet malls in Eagan and Albertville. Nike still sells the jerseys and features Peterson on its website.

Shaun Hagglun of Fan HQ in suburban Minneapolis said that he pulled Peterson apparel from the store's shelves as soon as the charge came down Friday night.

He said "I'm not making a moral stand or a judgment. Just for now, let's see what comes of this and see what stories are true and which ones are not and take it from there."

But there are also sponsors who are still rallying behind the Vikings and Peterson and one of the is Verizon Wireless.

According to Verizon in a statement to The Associated Press "We are supportive of the NFL and, at this point, we are satisfied with our sponsorship of the Minnesota Vikings. In fact, for the past several years we have collaborated with the Vikings on several programs to raise awareness of the impact of domestic violence, an issue Verizon has had a long-standing commitment to."
