Rumors are starting to circulate that the new "ThunderCats" movie will be out by 2015.
New reports suggest that the hit 80s animation series' reboot is underway. And it also looks like they already have a director on board to helm the film.
After the movie remake of another classic cartoon series- "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"- "Transformers" director Michael Bay is reportedly getting his hands busy with the new "ThunderCats" movie out by 2015.
This particular rumor however has caused more outrage than excitement to the fans of the animation. As KPopstarz puts it, "This angle, however, has been a huge 'blunder' for fans of the cartoons, saying that they don't want anymore '90's childhood series' to be directed by Bay, especially 'ThunderCats.'"
Meanwhile, totalfilm.com dished out on the latest cast news for the "ThunderCats" movie in 2015. The report said that "X-Men: Apocalypse" actor James McAvoy has been eyed to play "Lion-O" after he expressed his intent to play the character.
KPopstarz added, "McAvoy, who visited the publication's office for a chat for his previous film "Filth" revealed that he would love be part of a ThunderCats movie - claiming that a movie remake of the series 'needs to be made.'"
