Yoo Yeon Suk expressed his concern about Song Joong Ki's return from the army.
On September 29, Yoo Yeon Suk made a guest appearance in the SBS show "Healing Camp," and he talked about his "Werewolf Boy" co-star Song Joong Ki, who is currently serving in the military.
He opened the topic on enlistment, saying, "Most of the actors my age are serving in the military. Those who are active in acting usually enlist in their late 20s or early 30s, but I did my service when I was 22. Also, I served in the air force, which is three months longer than the average service, but I heard the service is getting shorter lately."
He continued, "For an actor, enlistment is a very sensitive topic, but because I am already done with my service, I can become more active while others are serving. Before the others return from their service, I have to film as many dramas and films as I can."
The MCs mentioned Song Joong Ki, one of the top actors who had to go enlist in their prime, and they said, "You must have concerns about Song Joong Ki's return then."
Yoo Yeon Suk immediately answered, "I know he will come back sometime in May," surprising the hosts on his knowledge regarding the other actor's enlistment schedule.
In addition, he was asked about the celebrities who are similar to him in age, saying, "As expected, you are being compared to actors like Lee Min Ho and Lee Seung Gi. What do you feel about that? Do you get nervous?"
He admitted, "It would be a lie to say I don't feel that, because I do; however, I have a clear goal that I want to attain. I can't think of being anything else but an actor."
Currently, Yoo Yeon Suk stars in the films "Whistle Blower," "Secret Temptation," and "Sanguiwon."
