Actor Charlie Sheen is being investigated for allegedly pulling a knife on his dentist during treatment for an abscess, according to People.
Sheen's bodyguard reportedly told the dentist that the 49-year-old was high on "rock cocaine" at the time of the incident, according to TMZ.
Charlie Sheen allegedly struck the dental technician and pulled a knife on his dentist, who was in the room with the oral surgeon.
"There was an incident with Charlie Sheen at a dentist's office. It's under investigation. It was on September 25," LAPD office Diana Figueroa told the NY Daily News.
Charlie Sheen's publicist Jeff Ballard has shut down reports regarding the "Anger Management" star's recent belligerent behavior.
"I can tell you that Charlie was on some pain medication for an old shoulder injury from pitching. He was on some medication for that, and apparently this was a different dentist, and they gave him nitrous oxide, and the interaction was not the best," Ballard told the news outlet.
He added, "I think a tray was knocked over, but no one was injured. No knife was pulled. He had a bad reaction with the two drugs. That's it. There was no knife involved. He was not high on any illegal substances. And the LAPD has not contacted Charlie or any of his representatives."
Times are tough right now for Charlie Sheen as rumors recently surfaced that production on "Anger Management" was on hold because Sheen hurt his face.
"He was playing with his dogs in the pool and ended up hitting his nose and getting four or five stitches. We were [not taping the show] for a couple days to let his nose heal because the doctor didn't want to put makeup on a freshly-cut nose. But he went back to work on Monday and Tuesday," stated Ballard.
