'Anubis' Release Date Moved To March 23, 2018; Trailer Not Yet Available; 20th Fox And Blue Sky Studios Also Announce 'Ice Age 5' Release Date;

Originally, "Anubis" release date is set for July 15, 2016. But Coming Soon's follow-up report said that the released date of the "Anubis Tapestry: Between Twilights" was moved to March 23, 2018.


According to the publication, the upcoming film is based on Bruce Zick's novel. It is all about mummy's curse that condemns Dr. George Henry's spirit to the Egyptian Underworld. While Dr. George is trying to free himself, his son Chance plumbs the depths of the Underworld and encounters different monsters. The novel was published in 2006.

As of the moment, the filming is ongoing and no trailer teaser has been released yet. The casts are not yet announced as well.

Aside from this film, 20th Fox and Blue Sky Studios have confirmed "Ice Age 5" and its release date is set for July 15, 2016.

The franchise film started in 2002 with the original "Ice Age". After the success of the first film, it was followed-up in 2006's Ice Age: The Meltdown, in 2009's Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs and in 2012's Ice Age: Continental Drift. The overall box office gross cost $2.8 billion worldwide.

Aside from the upcoming 20th Fox movies, Pixar and Disney has also announced their soon-to-be-released movies including "Finding Dory". It is a sequel of Finding Nemo set to hit theaters on June 17, 2016. Meanwhile, DreamWorks Animation's "How to Train Your Dragon 3" is also scheduled to open on the same release date as "Finding Dory"
