Kim So Eun plays the kindhearted Nam Da Jung in the drama "The Liar Game." Nam Da Jung is a participant in the drama's reality show game. She chosen because she tends to trust people and it's a game where you have to lie and swindle to win. As Kim So Eun plays Nam Da Jung, it's hard to believe that she will ever become vicious enough to last till the end of the game. But that may be because she's played some very nice characters in the past.

1. Her role as Gu Hye Sun's loyal friend Chu Gae Ul in "Boys Over Flowers" paired her up romantically with the genius potter played by Kim Bum. This inspired plenty of shippers to hope their onscreen relationship extended to real life dating. It did not. Earlier this year she said in an interview with Newsen that she would like to have a boyfriend but does not have the time to date.
"I just go from my home to the filming site," she said. I used to meet up with my friends when I was in school but I can't do that now. It's sad that I cannot just walk around comfortably. I'm interested in dating but I just don't have the chance."
2. She does have a virtual husband as she currently appears on 'We Got Married" with actor Song Jae Rim. He said that he loves teasing her and making her feel uncomfortable with both jokes and skinship. He teases her because he finds her reactions adorable.
3. She likes sports. In an interview with etoday, she said she learned how to ski in elementary school and does not like to miss a winter.
"I'm the type that prefers fierce sports like skiing, fencing, and horseback riding," said Kim So Eun. "Even as a child, I really enjoyed playing sports."
4. Kim So Eun can be seen in the 2014 film "Mourning Grave" with co-star Kang Ha Neul. In that film she plays In Soo, a girl who can see ghosts. She has also been cast in the film "Vertigo." The film tells the story of a family in which the mother is suffering from dementia.
5. Kim So Eun won a Best New Actress award for her role as the bubbly Princess Sook Hwi in "The Horse Doctor," with Jo Seung Woo. According to Kim, she's shyin real life than the princess and tends to stick to places and people she feels comfortable with.
