"The Vampire Diaries" actress is said to be "happy" to be separated from "The Anomaly" star after the Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder split. The "Perks of Being A Wallflower"star was also reportedly not pleased with her future career in the hit vampire show.
It was revealed that writers of the "The Vampire Diaries" are having a hard time in making lead characters Elena and Damon in separate scenes as they are supposed to be lovers. The said arangement was reporetdly made after Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder's split.
"The Perks of Being a Wallflower" star was said to be "happy" because she does not have to see her 35-year-old ex-boyfriend in the set of TVD everyday in Atlanta, Fashion & Style report said.
But the writers also keep in mind that fans would want the two to be sharing a scene, which is inevitable.
Ian Somerhalder's new flame "Twilight" star Nikki Reed was also the reason why Nina Dobrev is pissed with her ex-boyfriend. The actor is not shy in posting on his social media account about his feelings for his new lady love.
However, the report noted, "When Nina broke up with Ian she immediately got her glow back and proceeded to date every dude in sight - clearly the behavior of the dumper, not the dumped."
Now on its sixth season, and reportedly to be the last, Nina Dobrev is reportedly a"excited" to have her exit.
"She'll finally be able to ditch Ian for good, and she can finally start concentrating on her film career - properly, without the distraction of shooting and promoting a TV show," the Celebrity Laundry report added.
Meanwhile, "The Vampire Diaries" show is said to be doing the actress a "disservice" as she cannot even land an Emmy's award even when she is considered as the "best thing" in the show.
"However, I think we've gotten to the point where we can admit that the show is doing her a disservice," the report said, noting that she has only landed a single movie.
