Viewers who are enjoying the romantic chemistry between Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye in "Pinocchio" may dream they will continue as a real-life couple. Not so fast. Lee Jong Suk has some competition.
And it may be Park Shin Hye's film co-star Yoo Yeon Suk.
On a recent episode of the SBS show "One Night of TV Entertainment," Park Shin Hye and her co-stars in film "The Royal Tailors" spoke about the film and working together.
Inevitably they were asked a few questions about their personal lives.
Yoo Yeon Suk who plays king to Park Shin Hye's queen in the historical film, introduced himself as "a king who dreams of perfect love."
Han Suk Gyu, who plays the royal chief tailor in the film, decided this was a perfect introduction to ask his co-star about his relationship status.
"You say that you dream of a perfect love," Han asked. "What do you think love is? Do you have a perfect love right now?"
Yoo Yeon Suk answered without giving any information away.
"It's not perfect right now," he said.
Han Suk Gyu did not ask him which woman he was dating but fellow actor Go Soo implied that he was dating Park Shin Hye. Or at least trying to...
"On set you seem to be really close with Park Shin Hye," said Go Soo, who plays a troublemaking royal tailor in the film. "I thought you guys were in some kind of relationship."
Yoo Yeon Suk did not hesitate to state his interest.
"I really want to be in some kind of relationship," he said looking straight at Park Shin Hye.
At another point in the interview she complimented his looks, citing his broad shoulders, but then so many of Park Shin Hye's co-stars are attractive. She romanced Lee Min Ho in "The Heirs," Yoon Si Yoon in "Flower Boys Next Door," Jang Geun Suk in "You're Beautiful" and Jung Yong Hwa in "Heartstrings."
When Park and Yoo appeared on Midnight TV Entertainment, she said, "I'm blessed this year because I got to film with so many hot men."
Yoo Yeon Suk said he wanted to date her. Only time will tell if she says yes.
