Actress Park Bo Young talked about the difficulties she felt while filming 'Wolf Boy'.
On the 13th, at the Sky Theater at the Hall of Movies in Busan, Park Bo Young said that two things made filming difficult for her: battling the cold and Song Joong Ki not having any lines.
Park Bo Young said, "The hardest thing was fighting the cold. We filmed during the winter and had a lot of outdoor scenes. It was the coldest around 4 am. We all suffered a lot because of the cold."
She went on to say, "It was hard to practice lines because Chul Su (played by Song Joong Ki) hardly had any. It was easier when we were actually filming because his eyes were expressive, but while I was memorizing my lines, I asked myself a lot, 'How should I act this out?'"
When an audience member asked Park Bo Young what kind of emotion she felt during the scene where she slapped Song Joong Ki, she said that she felt really bad.
Park Bo Young said, "My heart hurt. I hit him a lot. We had to film from several angles, but honestly, when they were just filming my face, I didn't have to hit him, but Song Joong Ki told me to continue to hit him hard, so I did. I would just like to tell him that I'm really sorry and thankful."
Yoo Yeon Suk joked and said, "I heard that Song Joong Ki had a swollen face during his bust shot. They said that you hit him really hard so that his face would look bigger?"
'Wolf Boy' is about the innocent love between a wolf boy that shouldn't exist in the world and a girl who has closed her heart to the world. The movie was invited to the Busan International Film Festival in the Open Cinema category.
