Not being in love can be disappointing. But what if it was fatal? That's the premise of Lee Sun Kyun's new film "Love Is A Virus."

In the romantic comedy Lee Sun Kyun plays a man who invents a vaccine that can counter a deadly virus. The virus kills people who are not in love. Once they are infected, the victims only have five days to fall in love or the virus will have fatal consequences. While his character is developing the cure for the virus, he meets a woman who has been infected. Naturally, he wants to save her life. But which way will he cure her? Will he save her life by perfecting the virus-defeating vaccine or will he make her fall in love with him and thereby cure her infection?

Although Lee Sun Kyun's last few films have been detective thrillers, the 39-year-old actor felt the time was right to act in another romantic comedy. He's certainly no stranger to romantic comedies. He played Gong Yoo's dog-walking composer cousin in the k-drama hit "Coffee Prince." His character competed with Gogn Yoo for Yoon Eun Hye's love.

He also played the critical chef who hated women in the kitchen in the food drama "Pasta." His character may start out hating women chefs in that drama but he eventually falls for the chef trainee played by Gong Hyo Jin and comes to appreciate her many culinary talents. And Lee Sun Kyun also appeared in the 2012 romcom film "All About My Wife." In that film he played a man who asks a famous ladies man to seduce his nagging wife so he can feel good about divorcing her.

Lee Sun Kyun's last small screen appearance was in the 2014 beauty pageant drama "Miss Korea" with co-star Lee Yeon Hee. He is currently shooting the film "Angry Lawyer." In that film he plays a lawyer who teams up with a prosecutor, played by Kim Go Eun, to solve a murder case. He also played a detective in the 2012 film "A Hard Day."

Kang Yi Kwan, who directed "Juvenile Offender," will direct "Love Is A Virus." His film "Juvenile Offender" recently won awards at both the Tokyo and Cinemanila International Film Festivals. The director previously worked with Lee Sun Kyun in the 2005 drama "Sakwa."

"Love Is A Virus" will begin filming in March 2015. Are you looking forward to this film?
