Ryu Seung Beom’s ‘Suspect X’ Sells 1 Million Tickets In 10 Days

'Suspect X', starring Ryu Seung Beom and Lee Yo Won, has sold a million tickets in only 10 days after opening.

On the 28th, according to the Korean Film Council's Movie Theater Tickets Integrated Network, 'Suspect X' sold 136,686 tickets on the 27th for a total of 1,116,997 tickets overall. Out of all the movies released in October, this movie was the fastest to break 1 million. It flexes its power as this fall's best emotional mystery melodrama movie.

During the off-season, in October, 'Suspect X' is the only movie successful enough to rival 'Masquerade' currently.

The reason behind the movie's explosive success belongs to the amazing actors, the refreshing dramatization of drawing out the hidden emotions from the original work, and also director Bang Eun Jin's detailed directing.

The well-made movie is complimented for keeping the audience on the edge of their seats with a heart-pounding plotline. The ending left everyone in tears as they were deeply moved. The actors were also highly complimented for their acting. The movie especially touched the female audience because they could feel Seok Go's (played by Ryu Seung Beom) deep love for his woman and so good reviews of the movie is spreading from mouth-to-mouth.

On the 28th, director Bang Eun Jin and actors Jo Jin Woong and Kim Yoon Sung will greet the audiences in thanks for surpassing 1 million tickets.
