Justin Bieber recently made an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” where he spoke about his upcoming Comedy Central roast, which will be happening on his 21st birthday.
For those wondering whether Ellen will be a part of the delicious process of roasting Justin Bieber, the answer is no.
Ellen DeGeneres was reportedly asked whether she’d like to participate in one of the most highly antiquated Comedy Central roasts, but the comedian refused.
“I don’t like being mean to people,” explained Ellen.
She continued, “Why are you doing this?”
Despite our perception of Justin Bieber, the Comedy Central roast isn’t just all fun and games for the “Boyfriend” singer.
“I think it’s just cool to be able to laugh at yourself, you know?,” stated the 20-year-old.
He added, “I’ve done some things that may not have been the greatest. I just want to be able to laugh about it and, you know, kind of just own up to the things.”
The Canadian pop star seems to be focused on winning over his fans again and having a fresh start in 2015. Bieber reportedly posted a rather emotional video on Facebook late Wednesday night, stating that he’s working to become a better person, according to People.
“I’m not who I was pretending to be. Often we pretend to be something we’re not as a cover-up of what we’re truly feeling inside. There was a lot of feelings going on in there, just being young and growing up in this business. It’s hard. Growing up in general is hard,” explained Bieber in the video.
Justin Bieber’s most recent work includes a sexy Calvin Klein ad with model Lara Stone.
