Iggy Azalea And Eve Feud Begins After Twitter Altercation With Azealia Banks? ‘You Need To Know Your Place In The Culture,’ Says Macklemore

Before her ongoing feud with fellow rapper Azealia Banks comes to an end, Iggy Azalea may be at the center of another altercation with a different talented artist.

The “Work” hitmaker reportedly took to Twitter to respond to the recent comments made by Eve regarding how “real” Azalea actually is.

“I just wish there was a little bit more of where [Azalea] came from. It would be dope to hear her with her swag. What are you, who are you and what is that?,” asked Even during an interview with Sway Callaway, according to Music Times.

Iggy Azalea has been questioned for her authenticity in the music industry since her debut and the “Beg For It” rapper is clearly sick of it now.

“There’s a difference between being yourself and being your stereotype. When people i’ve never met say I should act more like ‘myself,’ I feel like they’re really saying ‘act more like how I stereotype you to be, so i can feel comfortable,” tweeted Azalea.

She continued, “I’m myself as strange as I may be, daily. I think it’s really important we all feel free to explore or feel passionate about whatever u wish.”

Iggy Azalea’s feud with Azealia Banks has reportedly brought on the opinions of other artists in the industry, including Lupe Fiasco, Q-Tip, Solange and Macklemore.

“You need to know your place in the culture. Are you contributing or are you taking? Are you using it for your own advantage or are you contributing? You cannot disregard where this culture came from and our place in it as white people,” explained Macklemore, according to Breathecast.

He added, “This is not my culture to begin with. I do believe that I need to know my place.”

Iggy Azalea has responded to the mounting criticism that has continued to follow her.

“100,000 percent because I have a vagina,” stated Azalea.
