The daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina, was reportedly found facedown and unconscious in her bathtub on January 31 before being rushed to North Fulton Hospital in Georgia, according to People.
Shortly after reports that Bobbi Kristina’s relatives got into a fight at an Atlanta hotel surfaced, Tyler Perry was reportedly seen paying a visit to Emory University Hospital where the 21-year-old is hospitalized on life support, according to Eurweb.com.
Perry wasn’t the only one to visit the aspiring singer. Her grandmother, Cissy Houston, also reportedly showed up to visit Bobbi Kristina as well.
Before the private visits from Perry and Cissy Houston, reports that Bobbi Kristina’s relatives had gotten into an intense fight at a hotel had made headlines.
“Fight call was involving the family members of pop star Bobby Brown. One victim Shayne Brown was struck in the head with a bottle by suspect Tina Brown,” Officer Kim Jones stated in an e-mail, according to Billboard.
Shayne Brown is Bobby Brown’s cousin and Tina Brown is Bobby Brown’s sister, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“Mr. Shayne Brown chose to drive himself to the hospital. Mrs. Tina Brown left the scene before police arrived. The motives of the fight is unclear at this time. Mr. Shayne Brown received lacerations to his head,” stated Jones.
Although the attention has steered towards Bobbi Kristina’s relatives, the focus remains on the young woman’s life, as Bobby Brown is reportedly maintaining hope that his daughter will make it through.
“He’s going to give her every chance to fight for her life,” a source told People.
The insider added, “He’s trying to keep as positive as possible.”
Authorities have reportedly launched an investigation into Bobbi Kristina’s drowning and her boyfriend Nick Gordon remains at the center of the investigation.
“I think they’re going to try to wait and see [what happens]. In his mind, she’s going to pull through — she’s a fighter, and she’s going to pull through. I think he’s going to hold as long as he possibly can,” the source added of Brown.
