Fans may already have witnessed her virtual wedding day on the reality show "We Got Married" but 25-year-old actress Kim So Eun has no plans to walk down the aisle for a few more years.
In a recent interview with @Star1 magazine, the actress was asked about her marital plans.
"I don't plan on getting married until I am at least 30," she said. "Until then I am going to focus on working hard at my career."
It was a natural question for the actress as her on-screen partnership with actor Song Jae Rim has made them one of the most popular couples in the history of the virtual marriage program.
And she admits they have what it takes. When asked to pick the best couple on that program she said that it was the "SoRim" couple.
"Compared to other couples on "We Got Married," we have the best chemistry."
The two became popular because of their playful interactions and his physical gestures of affection.
She recently apologized to her virtual spouse on the program after a real-life dating rumor linked her with actor Son Ho Joon. She denied they were more than friends. The rumor created a problem for the program, as actors are not allowed to date while they play the part of a married couple.
"If it was true I would say it was," Kim told Song Jae Rim. "Why would I lie? Don't you know I'm an honest person?"
Song Jae Rim said she did not need to apologize to him or feel bad. He also later told interviewers that he was worried about her and felt bad that she was hurt by the scandal.
In an interview with Korean media outlet "My Daily," producer Sun Hye Yoon stated that the scandal was not true. Sun said that the producers had no intention of canceling production on that "We Got Married" or the one starring Hong Jung Hyun and Girls Day singer Yura, which was also affected by a dating scandal.
"While their fantasy marriage life will come to an end at some point, as of right now, there are no plans for the couples to film the last episode or leave the show," said Sun.
Kim So Eun, who appeared in "Boys Over Flowers," "After School Bolbukbok" and "The Liar Game" has a few more years to add some acting credits before her real-life thoughts turn to marriage.
