Actress Yoon Soy officially joins KBS drama “IRIS 2.”

On January 25th, officials from the drama revealed that Yoon Soy has casts in the the drama as a spy.

The actress will play the role of Park Tae Hee, a Seoul university student who was brainwashed Joong Won (Lee Beom Soo) and went to North Korea to become a terrorist. She later comes back to South Korea as a spy.

The officials also said, “She is a great addition to the drama because She has great passion for her work and is full of energy. She will show a different side from herself, and she will surprise with her character.”

Yoon Soy debuted as model in the early 2000s and her acting debut was in the movie “Arahan” in 2004. She gain a lot popularity with her role in the 2011 drama “Warrior Baek Dong Soo.” She also appeared in the 2011 drama “Color of A Woman.”

In related news, actor Jung Suk Won was also cast in the drama to play a short yet important role.

“IRIS 2” will premiere on February 13th, on KBS.
