Rumors have circulated recently that actor and TVXQ member Yunho is planning to enlist for his two-year mandatory military duty in August. All eligible Korean males between the ages of 18 and 35 must serve for two years.

The rumors of his upcoming enlistment began to spread when Yunho told Japanese fans that he would not be meeting with them for a while. He made that comment while he was on tour in April and according to reports was crying when he said it.

However, his agency, SM Entertainment has responded to the rumors of an August enlistment saying that the actual date has not yet been decided. The agency did say that Yunho plans to enlist later this year. As he was born in 1986, he is 29.

Many celebrities choose to enlist closer to age 30, rather than at a younger age, as their twenties are the time that their career is the busiest and most lucrative.

The singer has appeared in several dramas and films, both in cameo and main roles. His most recent drama roles were playing Baek Do Hoon in the 2013 drama "King of Ambition," for which he won a Popular Actor Award, and playing the role of Kang Moo Sook in the hit drama "The Night Watchman's Journal." He won an MBC Excellence Award for his "The Night Watchman's Journal" role.

Yunho also had a cameo role in the popular film "Ode To My Father" and appeared in two musicals, "Goong" and "Gwanghamun Sonata."

Before Yunho signs up for military duty, he has a few commitments to fulfill. The most pressing commitment is the role he has taken in the 16-episode web drama series "I Order You." The web series is set to air in June on SBS Plus.

Yunho and actress Kim Ga Eun, who starred in "The Joseon Gunman," recently finished their first script reading for the web series. Filming is scheduled to begin in May.

"I Order You" is based on a web novel by the same name. In the food-focused drama Yunho will play chef Yeo Gook Dae, while Kim Ga Eun plays Park Song Ah an ad company employee.
