'The Heirs' Stars Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye And Krystal Reunited For Most Popular Awards

The 51st Baeksang Arts Awards were held at Kyung Hee University on May 26. Hallyu stars Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye and Krystal were present to receive their awards in the Most Popular divisions. When they took the stage to accept their honors, there was a notable presence of the 2013 teen drama, "The Heirs."

Lee Min Ho accepted the Most Popular Actor in Film for his breakout role in "Gangnam 1970." According to a report by Newsen, a large portion of his votes came through his international fans in China and Chinese-speaking regions. He graciously thanked his fans for their support. "Thank you, you are always supporting me despite my shortcomings," Lee said. "I know this is a long and hard vote. I sincerely thank you."

Park Shin Hye was the recipient of the Most Popular Actress in Film award for her performance in "The Royal Tailor." While the performers on the stage for the fan choice awards represented previously appeared in "The Heirs," her "Pinocchio" co-star Lee Jong Suk was also the recipient of honors in the popularity division. He received the Most Popular Actor in Television award for "Pinocchio" but was not present for the ceremony due to overseas promotional activities.

Prior to receiving their popularity awards, Park Shin Hye and Lee Min Ho also accepted the Most Popular Hallyu Star Award.

Krystal was recognized as the Most Popular Actress in Television for her role in the 2014 musical drama, "My Lovely Girl." Her portrayal of Yoon Se Na in the series served as her first leading role, following supporting characters in "The Heirs" and "High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged."

Other notable recipients from the early portion of the ceremony:

ZE:A's Siwan received the Best New Actor in Television award for his performance in the office drama, "Misaeng."

Go Ah Sung was the recipient of the Best New Actress in Television award for her role in the family drama, "Heard It From The Grapevine."

JYJ's Yoochun beat out other top stars including Lee Min Ho for the Best New Actor in Film award for his performance in "Haemoo."
