On June 3, OSEN published a report which named Red Velvet's Joy (Park Soo Young) and Yook Sungjae of BtoB as the latest stars of the variety series, 'We Got Married.' According to the report, the couple began filming segments for the scripted relationship program on June 3. Joy is 18-years-old while Yook recently turned 20-years-old. Both parties are the youngest members of their K-pop groups and will be one of the youngest couples in the history of "We Got Married."

A representative for the program spoke positively about the potential of the couple. "Joy of Red Velvet and Yook Sungjae of BtoB will meet today, to film the first episode," said a representative for MBC. "They represent the next generation of male and female idol groups."

Yook and Joy are joining 'We Got Married' in the midst of the departure of two couples."We Got Married" previously announced the departure of popular cast members Song Jae Rim and Kim So Eun, due to upcoming acting commitments.

On June 2, MBC also confirmed the departure of Super Junior-M's Henry and Yewon, from the program. Henry and Yewon joined the cast in March 2015. However, their appearance on the show was controversial, due to a scandal involving Yewon and actress Lee Tae Im.

In April 2015, "We Got Married" hit an all-time low, drawing only 3.0 percent of viewers nationwide. Yook and Joy will join CNBLUE's Jong Hyun and Gong Seung Yeon.

The article published by OSEN highlighted the fresh image of the new couple. Yook Sungjae is currently starring in the popular teen drama, "Who Are You: School 2015." He is the sub-vocalist of BtoB, who recently received attention for his successful appearance on the variety show, "The Masked Singer."

Joy is a member of SM Entertainment's dance-pop group, Red Velvet. The group debuted in 2014 and recently completed promotions for their release, "Ice Cream Cake."
