Actor Kwon Sang Woo recently shared his thoughts on the development of his character in “Yawang.”
On March 13th, the actor took his frustrations to his fan website and wrote, “I feel like Ha Ryu is going downhill. I am getting too much stress. I hope the scripts can come out well.”
Apparently, he also agrees with the majority of people, whom have been complaining about Ha Ryu's development in the show. Ha Ryu is trying so hard to take revenge on his ex-wife, Joo Da Hae (Soo Ae), but he haven't been able to accomplish much. Joo Da Hae has been getting away with her multiple crimes. Ha Ryu has been tailing her, but he can't do much because of his evidence seems like it's not enough to punish Joo Da Hae.
After his post became a hot topic among fans of the actor, and the drama, his agency explained his words. They said, “Kwon Sang Woo was really exhausted that day. He didn't mean what he said. He was just trying to communicate with his fans, since he doesn't have any SNS.”
It was also said, that there has been problems with the filming, and that all of the actors are running in a super tight schedule, as the drama will end in less than a month, and many things are left to be discovered in the drama.
Despite getting a lot of complaints, the drama has been getting good ratings of 18% and more. "Yawang" is going head to head with MBC's "The Horse Healer" that has been so loved by everyone.
