Lamar Odom has reportedly been finding comfort in Khloe Kardashian after the death of is best friend, Jamie Sangouthai who was rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles on Sunday, allegedly because of suspected drug overdose.

According to Hollywood Life, Lamar Odom may just be realizing how much Khloe Kardashian means to him now that he's at his darkest hour. "The one good thing that could come out of this is that Lamar has a newfound appreciation for Khloe," an insider reportedly said. "He's completely crushed right now and she's there for him. It's making him love her all over again,"

Lamar Odom and Jamie Sangouthai have reportedly been friends since they were kids together in Queens, New York. However, the two have purportedly had a falling out before Jamie's death and Lamar reportedly felt guilty on the way things were before his friend left for good.

Khloe Kardashian reportedly became close to Jamie too especially during the time when she was still married to Lamar. The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star has also been mourning Jamie's death. Mirror notes that Jamie appeared on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" spin-off, "Khloe and Lamar."

Lamar Odom has reportedly been inconsolable during the loss of his best friend, but Khloe Kardashian purportedly made a lot of effort to be the shoulder he could cry on. "Khloe tracked Lamar down and has been talking to him," the insider spilled. "She's been amazing, listening to Lamar's pain and being a shoulder to cry on. She's been his emotional rock during this heartbreaking tragedy."

Khloe Kardashian was reportedly devasted over the death of Jamie that she didn't attend the birthday party of her niece, North West, daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Khloe's best friend Malika Haqq also reportedly expressed grief on social media over the death of Jamie.
