If you were born in July, you may share your birthday with that of a popular k-drama star. Quite a few will celebrate this month.
The celebrations start on July 7 with the birth of ex F4 member Kim Bum.
July 7: Kim Bum made his drama comeback this year with a role in the crime thriller "Hidden Identity." The lean, mean detective he plays in this drama seems years older than the characters he played in previous dramas, such as "The Woman Who Still Wants To Marry" and "Boys Over Flowers."
July 10: Gong Yoo has been absent from the small screen for two years, but he has been busy with films. He's working on a few at the moment. "A Man and A Woman" and "Busan Bound" are both in pre-production, while "Secret Agent" will be released in 2016.
Kim Heechul shares Gong Yoo's birthday. The Super Junior member was busy in 2014 when he appeared on "We Got Married" and then "Flower Grandpa Investigation Unit."
July 14: Since his last birthday Lee Byung Hun has become an even more popular actor in Hollywood, lining up a role in "Beyond Deceit" and a remake of "The Magnificent Seven," as well appearing in "Terminator Genysis." He also became a first-time father this year.
July 14: Lee Kwang Soo earned much love in the last year for his role in the drama "It's Okay That's Love." He also starred in the film "Dynamite Family" with 2PM member Hwang Chansung and is due to appear in the film "Mutant."
July 16: Kim Woo Bin's star shone even brighter this year. He appeared in the film "Twenty" with Lee Junho and Kang Ha Neul. And he became the first East Asian model for Calvin Klein.
July 24: Kara's Han Seung Yeon was very busy in 2014, with roles in "Her Lovely Heels," "Jang Bo Ri Is Here" and "Secret Love." She contributed to two of those soundtracks, as well as releasing other music.
July 28: After playing the lovable but delusional writer Jang Jae Yeol in "It's Okay That's Love," Jo In Sung has taken a short drama break. But he did appear on "Running Man" this year with his good friends Lee Kwang Soo and Song Joong Ki.
July 29: Shin Se Kyung is having a great year. After starring in "Tazza 2: The Hidden Card" with Big Bang's T.O.P., she starred in the drama "The Girl Who Sees Smells" with Park Yoo Chun.
Kim Dong Wook shares Shin Se Kyung's birthday, but as far as we know they have never celebrated together. This year he appears in the film "Three Summer Nights." He also had a role in the historical drama "Maids," starring Jung Yu Mi.
Here's wishing a very happy July birthday to all these talented actors.
