Actor Kim Woo Bin made a funny confession about his non-existent friendship with singer IU.

On April 1st, the actor appeared as guess in the SBS show “Incarnation” and reveal the lie he used to say to about IU, the hard time he had while pursuing his dreams of becoming a model and much more.

The started by sharing the story he told his little cousin about IU, he said, “I sued to lie to my little cousin about being friends with IU. He thinks that since I am now a celebrity, I will know all the celebrities but that is not true.”

He continued with his story, “I asked him what was his favorite celebrity and he said IU. So I changed one of my friend's name in phone, with the name 'IU'. He didn’t believe me so I took my phone out and showed to my cousin. His eyes got so big in shock.” He said that now he is worried about the lie, since he has met met in reality.

Besides talking about his imaginary friendships with national icons, the actor revealed the struggles he went through when he moved to Seoul to pursue his dreams of becoming a model. He shared that he used to live in a sauna for 6 month, and couldn’t even buy rice or much less pay because he was not able to find a job in modeling, and he said he used to just drink water to fill his empty stomach.

Meanwhile, the actor will now show a different side of him, as he was selected to be a special MC for the Mnet’s music show “M! Countdown" for two weeks staring tomorrow April 4th.
