JYJ singer and actor Park Yoo Chun will lend his voice to a new documentary, "The Destiny of Piano," that tells the compelling story of one visually impaired pianist.

According to a report in the Korean media outlet Joongang Daily, Park, has agreed to narrate the documentary about pianist Yoo Ye Eun.

On July 22, Park's agency, C-JeS Entertainment told the Joongang Daily that the idea immediately appealed to Park. He did not have to think about the offer for very long.
"Park received an offer to join the project and he did not hesitate to accept the offer," said the C-JeS representative.

Pianist Yoo Ye Eun became famous in 2007 after appearing on the reality program "Star King." She became a viral sensation because of her ability to play a piano she could not see well. The documentary will tell the story of the pianist and her family and what happened to them after her sudden fame changed their lives.

It's not the first time that Park Yoo Chun has narrated a documentary for a worthy cause. In 2014 he recorded the narration for an MBC program about conjoined twins. The narration was written from the father's point of view. Reading the narration elicited smiles from Park but also tears.

At the time he told Enewsworld that he realized the twins were just like other children, playing at home and at school and learning, fighting with siblings. But they were fortunate in that they were raised with love.

"It's so fortunate that the twins have a family who is optimistic, dignified and loving," said Park. "I hope that the viewers can have the opportunity to realize once again that the things that we take for granted in our daily lives are actually very precious."

Before the documentary on the twins, he narrated a 2011 documentary "The Hometown I Lived In" about neighborhoods lost to development.

The director Lee Jeong Sik said that Park's voice was perfect for expressing the pain and longing of those who lost childhood homes.
Park Yoo Chun's ability to convey emotion also serves him well as an actor. He recently appeared in the drama "The Girl Who Sees Smells" with co-star Shin Se Kyung. He also appeared in his first film "Sea Fog" and that role won him several awards. His next film "Lucid Dream" will be released in 2015.

Park Yoo Chun is expected to enlist for his two-year mandatory military duty in August.
