Daryl Hall, 68, is about to become single again. After a marriage of six years, his wife, Amanda Aspinall, has filed for divorce from the former Hall & Oates singer. Amanda filed documents to end her marriage back in May. The couple had been married since 2009.

While Daryl is best known for hits such as "Rich Girl," "You Make My Dreams Come True" and "Kiss On My List" with partner John Oates. He is reintroduced himself to a new generation since 2007 with his online show and podcast "Live From Daryl's House."

Daryl and John are still on the road touring as Hall & Oates. The duo's 2015 dates will see them hit the Western U.S. later in August. The pair were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last year, according to Hollywood Life.

Amanda filed the papers stating that their marriage was "irretrievably broken." Daryl will not contest the claims so long as the prenup agreement is observed. Daryl spent the past six years married the British socialite, who is the daughter of the late zoo owner and gambling tycoon John Aspinall.

The couple didn't have children of their own, though she had sons from a previous relationship, March and Orson lived with the couple on his Connecticut estate. Daryl also has one biological child from a past relationship, an adult son named Darren.

Daryl has only been married once before, to Bryna Lublin from 1969 to 1972. However, it was his 30 year relationship with songwriter Sara Allen that inspired the classic 1976 ballad "Sara Smile." The pair never married and ended up going their separate ways in 2001, said HL.

After the split from Amanda, Daryl's hit 'She's Gone' will take on a meaning of its own.
