"When a Man Falls in Love" No other guy in the world could be as gentle as Song Seung Hun
Throughout the MBC drama "When a Man Falls in Love", Han Tae Sang (Song Seung Hun) had been portrayed as a nice guy to Seo Mi Do (Shin Se Kyung), who would do anything for her. However, it appeared for a while that Han Tae Sang will soon change because of all the scars he received from his unreturned love. Viewers were all expecting Han Tae Sang to become furious and take revenge. However, Han Tae Sang continued to be Han Tae Sang. It even seems like he will continue to receive more scars from Seo Mi Do.
During a recent episode of "When a Man Falls in Love" Han Tae Sang accidently leaves a video camera on record; which captures the conversation between Seo Mi Do and Lee Jae Hee (Yeon Woo Jin). Han Tae Sang is deeply hurt when he hears Seo Mi Do say, "He won't let me go until I die" to Lee Jae Hee in the video. Han Tae Sang misinterprets her intentions as her desire to kill him.
Han Tae Sang had previously forgiven Seo Mi Do and Lee Jae Hee for performing an indecent act of love inside of his own house. Regardless of everything, it was a very painful shock for Han Tae Sang.
Han Tae Sang becomes extremely furious and breaks the couple doll and takes off the couple ring from his finger. Han Tae Sang goes for a drive in order to cool off his anger. He discovers that one of the tires has a hole and believes that Seo Mi Do had done it. Han Tae Sang chooses to break up with Seo Mi Do. Seo Mi Do thinks that he is letting her go and asks if he really mean it. Han Tae Sang answers, "Do you want to know how I really feel? I wish you were not in this world."
After breaking up with Seo Mi Do, Han Tae Sang falls into the biggest slump of his life. The image of Seo Mi Do being happy with Lee Jae Hee couldn't be erased from his mind. Han Tae Sang's possessiveness continues even after the breakup.
Lee Chang Hee comes to see Han Tae Sang and says, "In order to protect you I killed the boss. I didn't regret it, not even once. I have to stop what is wrong. The woman you want to kill is with Jae Hee. I will turn everything back into place." Han Tae Sang replies, "Chang Hee, will you be able to kill the woman that your little brother loves? For me?" Lee Chang Hee then begins to plan to kill Seo Mi Do.
Lee Chang Hee later hits her with his car.
It turns out however that Lee Chang Hee has misunderstood Han Tae Sang's question. Han Tae Sang had believed that Lee Chang Hee would never be able to kill the woman his little brother loves. Han Tae Sang had meant for him to take good care of Lee Jae Hee and that it will be difficult for him to see Lee Chang Hee in the future. Since Lee Chang Hee beliveed that both Han Tae Sang and Lee Jae Hee were people he need to take care of, he had chosen to carry out a very dramatic plan.
The viewers had been waiting very patiently for Han Tae Sang's sweet revenge since the Seo Mi Do had caused him so much pain. Seo Mi Do had only accepted his love because his love was innocent and unconditional. However, when Seo Mi Do wrongfully believes that Han Tae Sang interfered with her plans to go study abroad, she started to believe that he is trying to get in the way of her dreams. This may be the reason why Seo Mi Do does not feel guilty even while she cheats on Han Tae Sang with Lee Jae Hee. Even after Han Tae Sang breaks up with her, Seo Mi Do does not feel sorry. Han Tae Sang is the one to say sorry for loving her too much.
When Han Tae Sangs learns that Seo Mi Do is in the hospital for serious injuries, he rushes to go see her. The preview of the upcoming episode showed Seo Mi Do opening her eyes while both Han Tae Sang and Lee Jae Hee is looking after her together. However, Seo Mi Do was shown grabbing Han Tae Sang's hand, not Lee Jae Hee's.
Did Seo Mi Do lose all of her memories? Or is it just an act to take revenge on Han Tae Sang for trying to kill her? Regardless of the answers to those questions, it is safe to assume that Han Tae Sang will become involved with Seo Mi Do once again.
The drama "When a Man Falls in Love" is a drama that is keeping the viewers on the edge of their seats with a story line that is very difficult to predict.
