Fans of "Fifty Shades Darker" reportedly want Ian Somerhalder or Theo James to join the cast as Jack Hyde.

Following "Batman vs. Superman" star Henry Cavill's confirmation that he will not be part of the film adaptation, it was said that fans have turned to Nikki Reed's husband Somerhalder and teh "Divergent" actor to take on the role.

Multiple reports claim that Somerhalder's portrayal as the "mysterious and dark" Damon Salvatore in "The Vampire Diaries" would fit perfectly in the film.

Meanwhile, "Divergent" fans are also reportedly rooting for Theo James to be part of the Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) love triangle after seeing his Hugo Boss' perfume ad.

"Theo James gives 'Fifty Shades of Grey' actor Jamie Dornan a run for his money in a new Hugo Boss fragrance campaign," reported Extra.

Some publication also pointed out that the campaign was very similar to the E.L. James movie adaptation.

"You can't help but hear and see the echoes of 'Fifty Shades of Grey:' the sharp black suit and slim tie, that familiar moody song (although it's an earlier but equally sexy-time-themed Weeknd track, 'High for This'), and even a scene in which James runs his hands up his lady friend's thigh and all buttons (and clothes) presumably come off," said Vanity Fair.

In other news, it was recently confirmed that "Fifty Shades Darker" that James Foley has come on board as the director of the sequel following Sam Taylor-Johnson's exit.

Dakota Johnson admitted that she was disappointed when Taylor-Johnson refused to do the sequel. The actress, however, said that she is looking forward to working with Foley.

"It's quite exciting," she told NDTV.

"I think James is a talented filmmaker. How often do you get to reconvene with the same people and have a different spin?"
