It's a fun idea for a show. Some theater people and actor hopefuls form a dating agency that stages scenarios to help people fall in love. What could possibly go wrong in such scenarios? Well, a lot. That's why there are back-up plans at "Dating Agency Cyrano." And backup plans to back up those plans.
To complicate things even further, the head of the agency, Seo Byung Hoon, played by Lee Jong Hyuk, and his newest recruit, Gong Min Young, played by Girls Generation's Sooyoung, don't see eye-to-eye on the best way to make romance happen.
To make it even more fun, the dating agency's clients are played by well-known actors and even one boy band idol.
So far, we've seen Ji Jin Hee as Min Young's client from her former, more traditional agency. Lee Chung Ah played a ballerina who was targeted by Min Young's old agency but was really in love with a wine waiter. The Cyrano Agency sealed the deal.
Then there was the veterinarian Joon Hyuk, played by Im Hyung Joon. The agency made him look mysterious and appealing so he would be more interesting to his crush. Jae Hee, a librarian played by Lee Yoon Ji.
SHINee fans were happy to see Lee Taemin play idol singer Ray. Despite having all the girls in the world in love with him, he could not interest the subject of his crush, Se Kyung. Yoon Seo played Se Kyung, whose heart was elsewhere.
Next up are Lee Kwang Soo and model/actress Goo Eun Ae. Lee Kwang Soo, who is known for being a cast member of the show Running Man, appeared as Kwang Soo in "High Kick Through the Roof," Ko Ki Joon in "City Hunter" and Park Jae Gil in "The innocent Man." He will play Prince Im Hae in the upcoming drama, "Goddess of Fire." Goo Eun Ae also had a cameo in "Love Rain."
Before taking on his next princely role, he will do a cameo appearance as a romantically challenged cook who hopes to win the affections of the character played by Goo Eun Ae.
According to the show's producer, Kang Hee Joon, "The Lee Kwang Soo and Goo Eun Ae couple will star in a special episode related to cooking. It's a setting that fits the characters well."
Apparently, the actors had the cast in stitches during filming.
"The staff couldn't stop laughing at Lee Kwang Soo's adlibs and his brand of humor," said Kang Hee Joon. "You can definitely look forward to his appearance."
