Lee Jong Hyuk who plays a professional matchmaker on the tvN show "Dating Agency: Cyrano" knows who he would like to be matched up with. He wants to be paired up with miss A singer and actress Suzy Bae. At least that's whom he wants to star in a drama with.

When Lee Jong Hyuk recently appeared on the MBC show, "Section TV: Entertainment Talk," a reporter asked him which actor he would most like to work with. He did not hesitate before choosing Suzy, the star of the drama "Gu Family Book."

The reporter said they Suzy would be pleased to hear that Lee Jong Hyuk wanted to act with her. But just to be sure the idea appealed to her, Lee Jong Hyuk then added that he was very flexible.

"I would take on any role that made her happy," he said.

It's not a surprise, really. Which actor doesn't want to be in a drama with Suzy at the moment? The actress is so popular that she heads the lists of most desirable Korean celebrities and Hallyu stars.

And she is having a great year. The ratings for "Gu Family Book" have topped its time slot since the show began. She is earning praise for playing the role of Dam Yeol Wol, the sidekick and romantic interest of Chang Koi Chi, the half mythical creature played by Lee Seung Gi. She also managed to snag the most commercial endorsements of any girl group member last year. She was featured in 15 different advertising campaigns, hawking products that ranged from clothes to scent to games.

Of course, the real question is: would Suzy want to co-star with Lee Jong Hyuk? So far, she has had some pretty desirable leading men. In "Dream High" it was actor Kim Soo Hyun and 2PM singer Taecyeon. In "Big" it was actor Gong Yoo and actor and boy band member Shin Won Ho.

But then Lee Jong Hyuk has had some fine leading ladies too. In "Dating Agency: Cyrano," he romances Girls Generation singer Choi Sooyoung. In "A Gentleman's Dignity," he was married to the lovely actress Kim Jung Nan.

Still, there is enough of an age difference that it would be awkward for them to play characters that are in love. The actor, who also appears in "Dad, Where Are We Going?" is 38, while Suzy Bae is only 18.

Maybe he wants to play her dad.
It's a good thing he said he is prepared to be flexible.
