The cast of "Space Jam 2" has yet to be decided although NBA superstar Lebron James really wants to be part of the sequel. Now, Blake Griffin has added his name to the list.

Rumors regarding "Space Jam 2" have been flying around in recent months but Warner Bros. has yet to make a confirmation about making the sequel.

In an interview with Basketball Insiders, the Los Angeles Clippers' high-flying forward was asked if he wants to be part of the second installment of the animation film that starred Michael Jordan.

"Oh absolutely, absolutely. I'd love to be involved in any capacity, really," he gushed. "Space Jam was a huge part of my childhood. I actually had a Space Jam themed birthday party as a teen. Then, when I turned 21, my friends got me a Space Jam cake again just to re-live the glory days."

He went on to add, "It has been a big thing for me so being able to be involved in any capacity would be great, even just being one of the guys that's in there would be cool. I think it would be a lot of fun. If you told me when I was 8 years old that I could possibly have a chance to be in Space Jam 2, it would have blown my mind. That would just be like another check off the bucket list."

And Blake Griffin might have unwittingly made his audition for "Space Jam 2" as he already made a commercial with Marvin the Martian for Warner Bros. as he challenged the irascible alien into a dunk-off.

Earlier, Lebron James also said that the rumors about "Space Jam 2" need to be realized and he would like to be part of the cast, if that were to happen.

When asked by the Today show if he would be amenable to do the sequel, he replied, "We hope so. We're definitely missing Bugs and Daffy and [the] Tasmanian Devil and every last one of them, so hopefully we can do some great things."

Stay tuned for more "Space Jam 2" cast and rumors.
