Aaron Sorkin, the director of the upcoming movie "Steve Jobs" blasted at Tim Cook for calling him opportunistic during an interview with Stephen Colbert.

Apple CEO Cook was on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" earlier this month where he discussed about the films on Apple Founder Steve Jobs that include Alex Gibney's "Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine" documentary and Sorkin's "Steve Jobs," according to Mac Rumors.

Cook who called Jobs an amazing human being said that he doesn't like films being made about him. Cook who hasn't seen either of the flicks said that "I think a lot of people are trying to be opportunistic and I hate this." He also added that "It's not a great part of our world."

Meanwhile Sorkin who was on an interview The Hollywood Reporter blasted back at Cook's comment that he is not making the film to become rich. He also noted that he and his colleagues in higher rankings have accepted pay cuts to get this movie done.

"Nobody did this movie to get rich," Sorkin said. "Secondly, Tim Cook should really see the movie before he decides what it is," he added. "Third, if you've got a factory full of children in China assembling phones for 17 cents an hour you've got a lot of nerve calling someone else opportunistic," said Sorkin.

In the film, Michael Fassbender plays the lead role and and Seth Rogen plays Steve Wozniak. The movie received wonderful response and reviews when screened at Telluride Film Festival in Colorado. There were also speculations that the flick could be nominated for Oscar especially for Fassbender's extraordinary performance.

The film which is based on Walter Isaacson's best-selling biography is slated to be released in the US on October 9. It is worth noting that Cook commented on the biography some time back that it is a "tremendous disservice" to Steve and also added that "The person I read about there is somebody I would never have wanted to work with over all this time."
