The young actor who was recently cast in "The Heirs" has been described as a "Young Lee Seung Gi." But that doesn't mean he is going to have exactly the same career. It just means that like Lee Seung Gi, he can act, sing and dance, posing what those in show business call a "triple threat." He is also charming enough to be an emcee on a variety show, so his future in the entertainment business looks bright. He has it all, as these fun facts will help demonstrate.

1) Kang, 23, has the same birthdate as actress Kim Na Heul, 35. Has anyone introduced them? They could celebrate their birthdays together.

2) He got his first break playing a high school student in a television show called "My Mom! Super Mom! He played a studious young man who appeared to be quite indifferent to his surroundings but secretly was vulnerable and longed for love. Although he got praise for acting the part of an angst-ridden student, he's also good at musical roles. His singing talent helped earn him the role of the musically talented class president Jung Sun Woo in the drama "Monstar."

3) He is really enjoying his role on "Monstar."

"It's fun because I am able to act and sing like in a musical," said Kang Ha Neul. "I think the music is making it even easier to focus on my role."

4) He has no chance of dating his "Monstar" co-star Ha Yeon Soo but that's okay. When she was asked if she preferred her co-star Yong Junhyung of Beast or Kang Ha Neul, she said neither actor was her type. His heart was not broken. He laughed about her comment.

5) He has appeared in two films, "You're My Pet" with Jang Geun Suk and the historical war comedy "Battlefield Heroes."

He earned praise for his role as an Olympic track star in "To The Beautiful You." After he finishes filming "Monstar," he will play the smart attractive son of a public prosecutor in "The Heirs," a drama about a school for wealthy students.

When he was cast in "Monstar," a representative from his agency said that he had an advantage because he was a rare actor for someone his age, with his acting skills and looks. "We expect him to become the biggest rookie of the last half of 2013, thanks to his being cast in "The Heirs" after "Monstar."
