"Fifty Shades Darker" is already behind schedule. However, the author E.L. James, recently hinted that the production of "Fifty Shades Darker" has already started.
The 52-years-old erotic romance author, James, recently shared a photo of herself with her husband, Niall Leonard and movie director, James Foley via her Instagram account.
James' post hinted that James Foley and Niall Leonard will also collaborate for the third and last instalment, "Fifty Shades Freed."
Along with this, James also posted a photo of Comcast office at NBC Universal, where they met to discuss about the upcoming two films in the "Fifty Shades" series. The millionaire author brought her own copy of "Fifty Shades Darker," and "Fifty Shades Freed."
Based on E. L. James' bestselling novel, "Fifty Shades Darker" the story will follow the tormented young billionaire, Christian Grey and college graduate, Anastasia Steele. After the events of "Fifty Shades of Grey," the couple split their SDSM relationship to start a fresh life. Anastasia Steele has started her career with Seattle Independent Publishing House but the desire of Grey still haunts her.
Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan will reprise their role of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey respectively. In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, Universal Pictures chairman Donna Langley confirmed that "Fifty Shades Darker" will be more thrilling than the first part.
In March 2014, the producer of "Fifty Shades of Grey," Dana Brunetti confirmed that the entire team is very excited to make a sequel. When "Fifty Shades of Grey" was still into production, director Sam Taylor-Johnson confirmed that Universal Pictures will soon finalize the scripts of the possible sequels. Due to creative differences with the E.L. James, Sam Taylor left the project and then Universal Pictures hired James Foley to direct the two sequels.
"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated to release in the United States on February 10, 2017.
