Adele, singer and song-writer from United Kingdom, has decided not to release her new album "25" on the online music streaming services platforms like Spotify and iTunes, according to The New York Times. The music album which releases on November 20 will only be available at various music stores in the form of CD's and DVD's.

The Guardian said, this decision of keeping away her music from streaming online is Adele's personal decision and it has not been manipulated by anyone. Adele is supposed to be following Taylor Swift's way of restraining to release music on streaming services over royalty issues with such companies.

Adele has also followed the same style during the release of her previous album, "21." She released her album on Spotify one year after its original release and in between witnessed the sale of 30 million copies of "21" all over the world, reported the Wall Street Journal.

The trend to block streaming services is actually not a new one. Earlier in 2013, Beyoncé did not release her new album online for almost a year. Then Taylor Swift, singer and composer, also restricted her album "1989" to feature online for free.

According to media analyst, Mark Mulligan who analyzes the upcoming trends in music area described this decision of Adele as the biggest blow to the online music streaming industry. He said that "25" is sure to become one of the biggest sensations and with its restricted online access would surely affect the streaming business, reported The Reuters.com.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Spotify has tried tempt Adele on revising her decision by praising out her in public. The company made a statement that, "We love and respect Adele, as do her 24 million fans on Spotify. We hope that she will give those fans the opportunity to enjoy '25' on Spotify alongside '19' and '21' very soon," as quoted by USAToday.com.

At present only the first track "Hello," from the new album is available online and has highest record of 1.1 million downloads in its first week of release. The song's video has also reached 400 million views in no time. The music store owners are eyeing the release of the album for higher sales during the holiday season. According to analysis reports from various music officials, the new album is expected to sell around 2.5 million copies in just one week after its release in United Sates, reported.
