"Fifty Shades of Grey" actress Dakota Johnson and ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal have yet to respond to the rumors that they are rekindling their romance, after splitting about four years ago.

Back in August, Radar Online claimed that romance was brewing between Dakota Johnson and ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal after they were spotted on a date night.

The article also claimed that the former couple tried to evade photographers by make sure that they leave the bar separately.

"Jake and Dakota were accompanied at their table by different people throughout the night - including the owner of the bar [that's] so inaccessible to the public that it doesn't even have a name," the source allegedly claimed. "They left the venue through separate exits, Johnson out the front and Gyllenhaal via a back door."

But before they went on separate ways, however, romance was clearly in the air was Jake Gyllenhaal and Dakota Johnson stole a last glance at each other before making their way to the exit.

Since then, Dakota Johnson nor ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal have not issued a statement confirming or denying the rumors.

Gossip Cop, however, maintained that there's no truth to the rumors between the two.

"A source close to the actor exclusively tells Gossip Cop that he and Johnson are NOT romantically involved," it said.

The "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress, however, is currently single so there would be no roadblocks on the way if indeed she decides to date Jake Gyllenhaal once again.

During a guesting stint at The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the talk show host asked Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith's daughter if she is in a relationship.

Dakota Johnson replied, "no" before giving an awkward laughter.

The actress would reprise her role as Anastasia Steele in the sequel to the highly successful "Fifty Shades of Grey," along with Jamie Dornan who will again play Anastasia Steele.
