Black Friday 2015: Samsung TV Deals; What Studies Show About The Effects Of UHD TVs On The Brain

Black Friday 2015 deals on Samsung TVs started to surface as early as last week. Televisions are often among the best-selling items on Black Friday as consumers think about buying a new TV during the holidays. Stores like Target, Wal-Mart and Best Buy are now listing TVs from Samsung, The Gospel Herald reported.

Target will open doors on Thursday at 6:00PM with interesting doorbusters and deals. Including in its Black Friday 2015 deals are Samsung's LED TV 120Hz 1080p 60 inches for $698; Class LED Smart TV 1080p 60Hz 40 inches for $318; Class LED HDTV 720p 60Hz 32 inches for $178 and Class Smart UHD TV 2160p 4K 55 inches at $798.

Best Buy will open doors from Thursday, 5:00PM to Friday, 1:00AM and will reopen at 8:00AM. Among the store's Black Friday 2015 headliners is Samsung's Class LED Ultra HD TV 2160 4K 60 inches for $800, Class LED TV 1080p 48 inches for $380, Class LED HDTV 720 24 inches at $130; a Class LED 1080p 40-inch TV for $280; Class LED 1080p 50-inch TV for $550, a Class LED 55-inch 1080p TV at $580, Class 2160p Smart Ultra HD TV 50 inches at $800 and a lot more Samsung TVs.

Wal-Mart which Black Friday 2015 sales will start on Thursday, 6:00PM offers Samsung's Class HD TV 55 inches for $498 while the 40-inch Class Smart HDTV is tagged $298. The 32-inch Samsung Class HDTV is available for $198 while the 55-inch Curved Smart UHD 4K TV is priced $998.

Meanwhile, the South Korean TV manufacturer, together with Mindlab International, published a study which revealed that compared to watching on a full HD TV, watching content from a UHD TV is 38 percent more immersive, according to a post on SamsungTomorrow.

Entitled "Screen Sensation: The Ultra HD Effect," the neurophysical study examined the effects of watching both a Full HD TV aka 1080p and UHD TV. A full HD TV has five times more picture info compared to the standard definition TV and a UHD TV is four times as detailed as a full HD.
