Keith Urban is one supportive husband as he encouraged Nicole Kidman to take on the WEst End production, "Photograph 51," even if it's going to inconvenience the "American Idol" judge.

Nicole Kidman can only sing praises for husband Keith Urban who reportedly flies to London whenever he can find time from his busy schedule to watch her play the role of Rosalind Franklin. Her performance has drawn a lot of praise from critics and fans alike.

Matt Trueman of Variety described her performance as a standout.

"The less she does, the more she wins focus," he wrote. "She's crisp and curt, but most of all still, and even statuesque. It's a decisive performance, commanding because she's so in control."

"Ms. Kidman grabs onto such details of character without wringing them dry," Ben Brantley of the NY Times observed. "And she deftly pulls off the trick of letting Franklin reveal to us an underlying wistfulness ... without ever allowing us to think that the others onstage have sensed the same vulnerability."

But Nicole Kidman can thank husband Keith Urban for his support so she can focus on her performance.

"My husband, I think, has made 15 trips over four months," Nicole Kidman told The Evening Standard.

"That's commitment. I owe him a big thank you. He said, 'Go!', and it was so beautiful, because we really don't get that involved in each other's work," she explained, adding that husband Keith Urban didn't even read the play so he had a "very lightweight understanding" of what the "Photograph 51" is about."

"He then came and saw it in a preview and he came back afterwards and he was crying and he said, 'Now I know why we're here.' To be validated like that by your partner was wonderful, because this was a big ask," she added.

Nicole Kidman has relocated the kids temporarily to London from their Nashville, Tennessee home while she's performing at West End.
