Adele has raised a storm with her 5 million sales of her new album, "25." Fans just cannot get to see enough of her as she begins her tour in July, 2016. Pre-sales of Adele's concert tickets showed that even early birds who tried to get tickets had a tough time.
The "Hello" songwriter announced a number of performances on the West Coast with two nights at the Key Arena in Seattle on July 25 and 26. She plans to by-pass Portland to perform at San Jose's Oakland followed by six nights at LA's Staples Center.
"Gas is pretty cheap right now, all things considered, so if one wanted to see Adele 11 times in three weeks, it wouldn't be completely insane," reported Oregonlive.
Adele's concert tickets will go on sale on Dec. 17, 10 am, PST. You can visit this site, for more information on tour dates.
Tickets will go for $149.50 to $39.95 via Ticketmaster and will be strictly four per person.
"19" achieved instant success abroad and helped Adele establish a footing in the States, where she won two Grammy Awards in 2009 for best new artist and best female pop vocal performance for her single "Chasing Pavements," Twin Cities reported.
Adele's second album, "21" was well-liked by her fans. It had a touch of melancholia that hinted at how relationships end. "21" sold more than 11 million copies turning Adele Laurie Blue Adkins into a one-of-a-king superstar. Adele wrote songs for "21" with the assistance from writers like Dan Wilson from Minnesota.
"25" was meant for release in 2014, but was announced in October.
"My last record was a break-up record, and if I had to label this one, I would call it a make-up record," said Adle in the Twin Cities report.
"Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did. '25' is about getting to know who I've become without realizing. And I'm sorry it took so long but, you know, life happened."
