Kim Jung Eun has wedding plans. The actress, who was last seen in the drama "Make A Woman Cry," is planning a U.S. wedding in March.
According to the Korean media outlet Sports Seoul, she plans to have a small private ceremony for family and close friends.
She has not yet fixed the date and is currently in the U.S. making the arrangements for the ceremony.
Her husband-to-be is a Korean-American investment manager who works for a finance company.
The couple has reportedly been dating for three years. They tried to keep their relationship a secret despite the fact that they met for a date every Friday night. In June they were photographed together and had to admit to their relationship.
"We were half forced to acknowledge our relationship because we were caught on camera," said Kim.
She said that her fiance is understanding of her career and has been a big support. When the relationship went public the 39-year-old actress was working on "Make A Woman Cry." She found it unfortunate that dating was so hard for celebrities as relationships provide the support that makes it easier to work at such a challenging job. At the time she said she had no plans to marry.
"I have no specific plans to marry yet," she told the Korean media outlet Joongang Daily in June. "But I do want to get married some time in the future."
Kim Jung Eun's first drama role was in 1997 when she appeared in 'Star In My Heart" and her breakout hit was the 1999 drama "Sunflower." She is best known for her roles in "Marrying The Mafia," "Lovers in Paris" and "I Am Legend." Her last non-cameo role in a film was in "Le Grand Chef 2: The Kimchi Battle."
She also hosted the talk show "Kim Jung Eun's Chocolate" on SBS.
Kim previously dated actor Lee Seo Jin. The couple dated for two years before breaking up in 2008.
